Microsoft has been offering for several years its Surface Pro range, two-in-one computers, laptop and tablet, to offer the best of both worlds. Machines that suit everyone, even if the latest reference, the Surface Pro 7+ clearly targets professional users.

If you’ve been waiting for an update in the Surface Pro line, you might be interested to learn that the Redmond company has just released the Surface Pro 7+. Unfortunately, there’s a good chance you won’t be able to get your hands on it unless you are working in the education sector or for purely professional use.
With LTE and removable SSD
According to the Microsoft press release, the new Surface Pro 7+ was thought and designed for business users, so it has features that these users should appreciate. This includes in particular the LTE socket – which means that it is possible to be connected even without WiFi, provided of course that there is a data network available – as well as a removable SSD – which can make it possible to secure any sensitive documents in the event that the device is stolen. It should also make life easier for IT departments if the machine should accidentally fail.
This Surface Pro 7+ is available in various configurations but to take advantage of LTE, you will have to opt for the Intel Fanless Core i5 model. There are also options equipped with 11th gen Core i3, i5 or i7, as needed. Microsoft has also chosen to include a battery that it claims gives the machine 15 hours of runtime.
The Redmond firm has not yet communicated the prices or the date of these new references on its site, but as said previously, it seems that they are only available to professionals, especially education.
