Life is Strange: True Colors, an ambitious new opus without the episodic format

Deck Nine Games is in charge of the development of Life is Strange: True Colors for Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment.

New central episode of the license Life is Strange , it will take place in Haven Springs, a small mining town as beautiful as it is mysterious nestled in the mountains of Colorado where Alex Chen resides ( played by Erika Mori), a young girl with supernatural power based on empathy. It allows him to absorb and manipulate the intense emotions of others in order to change the fates and lives of many people. While her brother Game will perish in an alleged accident, she will have to accept his power to find out the truth. She will also eventually learn more about the dark secrets buried in the city.

Ryan and Steph from Life is Strange: Before the Storm will be present in this very ambitious title which will benefit from a graphic and technical improvement, in particular with motion capture. Life is Strange’s Alex and Chloe could also be making a comeback. The exploration in the small open world of Life is Strange: True Colors will be supported by an exclusive soundtrack with new tracks from mxmtoon and Novo Amor as well as licensed songs including Radiohead, Phoebe Bridgers and again Gabrielle Aplin.

Life is Strange: True Colors will be available on September 10th on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X , Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Windows Store as well than Google Stadia.

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection announced this fall

This collection will contain the remastered editions of Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, with enhanced visuals and animations. The collection will be available as part of the Ultimate Edition of Life is Strange: True Colors and as a standalone edition later this year.
